All soliciting for charitable or other purposes in general study or stack areas is prohibited within both the Folsom and Architecture Libraries. However, unobtrusive soliciting in support of recognized campus-endorsed programs – such as the United Way Campaign, Clothe-A-Child, and the Meanest Man on Campus campaign held during Grand Marshal Week – may be permitted at library service counters or in staff work areas with the approval of Library Administration.
Examples of unobtrusive soliciting include:
- Display of labeled collection containers and registration forms
- Sale of raffle ticket chances in compliance with Institute and state regulations
Inquiries about using library space for soliciting activities should be directed to the Library Director.
