As we get ready to welcome students and faculty for the new semester, RPI Libraries is pleased to share our standard building hours for Fall 2026.
Beginning Thursday, August 27, the Folsom Library building will be open:
Monday–Thursday: 8 a.m.–10 p.m.
Friday: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Saturday: noon–8 p.m.
Sunday: 2–10 p.m.
The Architecture Library, located on the third floor of the Greene Building, will be open:
Monday–Friday: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 4–8 p.m.
Please note: During the first three weekends of the semester (August 29–30, September 5–6, and September 12–13), the Folsom Library building will be open from 4–8 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, and the Architecture Library will be closed.
Also, mark your calendars: Drop-In Tutoring begins Wednesday, September 9, in the Student Success Center on the first floor of Folsom Library. Drop-in tutoring is available for many core undergraduate courses. To see the complete drop-in schedule, including courses, times, and locations, go to Tutoring | Student Success Center.
Library resources and services remain available beyond building hours, including 24/7 access to research databases, Ask Us 24/7 Librarian Chat, automated interlibrary loan processing for many resources, and other tools available online.
