The table below summarizes lending and usage policies for the Architecture and Folsom Libraries including the Institute Archives & Special Collections. Policies relating to Rensselaer@Hartford's Cole Library are different.

3 weeks with 3 item limit

30 days with 10 item limit

Rensselaer faculty, staff, students and their spouses, and Friend of Folsom Library members 2 weeks without renewal
Reference Books,Journals, Maps, & most Class Reserve items

All library users

Audio-visual Kits and Sound Recordings Rensselaer faculty, staff, students and their spouses, and Friend of Folsom Library members 10 days
