Visual Resources Collection at Rensselaer Research Libraries

The Architecture Library's Visual Resources Room contains a loan collection of approximately 100,000 slides on contemporary and historical buildings, structural design, building technology, city planning, and fine arts. Over 21,000 of these images have been digitized to date and an additional 4,000 digital images are available online via the library's subscription to the Saskia Ltd. digital database and to Davis Art Images.

In addition to color and b&w slides there are also collections of photographs, prints, maps, drawings, and models almost exclusively on architectural topics.

The librarian in charge of the collection is Jeanne Keefe (Office-Room 306, Architecture Library, Greene Building). She can be reached by phone at 518-276-2727, or click here to email her at the Architecture Library.
